Everyone has a role to play in delivering a better future for the next generation.
Along with our parent company, Yokogawa, we have three goals to achieve a sustainable society by 2050:
To achieve these goals we are transforming our business to become more adaptable and resilient to external changes, evolving to maximize our assets and increase resource efficiency, and engaging with our customers, partners, suppliers and employees on innovative ways to create the value needed to make the world a better place.
As a Yokogawa company we’re proud to be part of this shared vision.
Our commitment to minimizing our clients’ emissions is the strongest part we play in emissions reduction. We’ve been working with industrial sites around the world for decades to help them improve their energy management through our consulting energy efficiency studies. One of our key technology solutions has grown since 2004 to 110 industrial sites running the Visual MESA® Energy Management System to support their daily operations. This graph shows the consequent GHG emissions reduction that has been calculated from those sites using the Visual MESA Energy Management System.
KBC recognizes the importance of addressing climate change and supports Yokogawa Group’s carbon-neutral ambitions. KBC manages its environmental impact through responsible operational practices, including efficient use of office space, energy awareness, and flexible working arrangements. Environmental performance data is monitored internally to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making. Quantitative greenhouse gas reduction targets and external reporting are applied where required by statutory obligations or Yokogawa Headquarters requirements.
In this programme by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and ITN Productions Industry News, we highlight how we're helping clients on their journey to net zero, through energy savings, emissions reductions and decarbonization.
